Working as a learning technologist applies a critical awareness of technology and its relationship to culture to create art, design and learning experiences. A central theme of my work is a drive to find optimistic and pragmatic ways to approach issues in society.
during a yearlong project at FACT Liverpool I delivered a series of art and design workshops with young people in Cheshire. This involved making and using internet connected sensors along with open data, scientific resources and digital manufacturing. Other projects used Virtual Reality to aid youth workers in counselling sessions and digital manufacturing to help imagine future landscapes.
